Pembroke Pines City: Home For Sale in Pembroke Pines City
Pembroke Pines was incorporated as a City in Broward County in 1960. It was blocked-up from westward extension by the square-mile county acquired North Perry Airport and South Florida State Hospital to its west. A well known developer named Joseph La Croix accepted to have his own 320 acres north of Pines Boulevard and east Davie Road Extension linked to the city. This decision gave the small town its perfect way for western expansion. CB Smith Park at Pines Boulevard and Flamingo Road were part of this annexation doubled the city size significantly as a result. Pembroke Pines grew up hugely since then. The city counts with amazing parks and all kind of recreational areas containing a big number of activities for kids and adults too in which professional sports are also included. Pembroke is still keeping the gift of being a fine residential community with all kinds of housing: townhouses, condominiums, single-family homes and apartments. The city also counts with professional fire and police stations to protect residents and visitors. Pembroke Pines began its first charter school system and in the present days provides education to children at three elementary schools, two middle and one high school. Students’ population is overcrowded so a new and enormous Institution called Charles Flanagan High School supplies the western area of Pembroke Pines in Broward County. Pembroke Pines City maintains its purposes of growing up as an attractive place to live, play and work.
