Vanderbilt Park is the oldest area found in the City of Doral. It is home to a group of people who have nothing to do with any Homeowners Associations and/or the limitations that rule them. Almost all properties are traditionally built with the exception of a neighborhood located on the south side. When Vanderbilt Park was first built, it was considered as a way of getting away from the glamorous City of Miami. A big number of lots were sold to many people so they built their weekend breaks homes. These homes didn’t have municipal water lines. By the mid-seventies, a developer built more comfy homes and started selling the properties to be used as a permanent living. And, among them, one had its own pool.
The major change came when municipal water lines were connected so Real Estate investments gradually began to rise.
Vanderbilt Park is a comfortable and tranquil community to live in with most of its streets cemented and beautiful homes. It has a unique style and is considered by far the planned world of Doral.
